Varsity College Registration procedure
Varsity College First Semester Registration to be able to participate in the First-semester academic session activities, Exams &Test. The Varsity College registration is done online via the school website and takes some minutes to complete. Go to the official School website, read the Varsity College general information and the guidelines on how to register, select the “Register to write” tab and follow all instructions. Note that you will need your official South African ID or foreign passport in order to complete the registration process.
Varsity College Registration Dates
If you are a new student – you must have applied first, to be able to register for all full time and part time qualifications. This does not apply to Short Learning Programmes. Click here to apply if you have not yet done so.
Please note that registration for second semester Distance programmes will open on 4 May 2020. Registration for 2021 first semester programmes will open on 7 December 2020.

Varsity College Fees Booklet 2021
A number of finance options are available to eligible prospective students and their parents. This section will guide you through these options and demonstrate just how possible it is to finance your studies.
The Options
At Varsity College there are three options for paying for your studies:
- Pay all fees up front.
- Pay a deposit at the beginning of the year and the balance of the fees over a specified period.
- Pay a fixed instalment over a specified period of time (no deposit payable).
Programme fees at Varsity College vary depending on the programme you have registered for. The Schedule of Fees provides details of the fees payable for each programme, and is available from any Varsity College campus. All fees exclude text books, the cost and purchase of which you are responsible for.

Student loans are provided by registered financial institutions such as banks. These loans are structured in such a way that, during the time you are studying, all that needs to be paid on a monthly basis is the interest accrued on the amount you have borrowed. Only once you have completed your studies and enter the working world will the capital and interest on your loan need to be repaid. The amount of R60, 000.00 has been used for illustrative purposes only and is not for a specific Varsity College programme. Interest rates, chosen deposits and monthly repayments will vary in accordance with different lending institutions’ policies and repayment terms.

To qualify for a student loan, you will need to provide your bank with certain information, so that they can assess whether they are willing to grant the loan. The bank will insist that there is someone (normally a family member or a guardian) who will stand surety for the debt, and will also require proof that they have sufficient income to cover the monthly repayments. The interest rate that the bank offers may vary depending on the bank’s assessment of the surety.
Varsity College Bursaries
Varsity College has various categories of awards, bursaries and scholarships available for which you may apply provided you meet the requirements. Should you wish to apply for any of the awards listed below, bursaries or scholarships, an appointment needs to be booked with a Student Advisor at a Varsity College campus in your area.
Academic
First year students can apply for academic awards based on their Grade 12 results. And while studying with us our current students can apply for awards based on their academic achievement in the previous academic year with us.
Leadership awards
In acknowledgement of our new students’ previous leadership roles at their school, we reward these students for their roles as Head Prefects and Deputy Prefects, or equivalent.
Student Engagement Bursaries
At Varsity College we encourage our students to participate in sports, social and our community. We have two committees that dedicate their time to organizing and engaging in such activities. Members of these committees have an opportunity to be awarded bursaries for their involvement.
Sport
Sporting success earns our students opportunities for scholarships and bursaries. Our students can apply for campus sports bursaries, or form part of our Sports Life programme. Bursaries and scholarships apply to sports where students may represent the brand for team sports or at an individual level. Discretionary bursaries may also be granted where student has achieved at a national or provincial level. A number of sports bursaries are campus specific.

Our loyalty awards
Varsity College rewards loyalty by granting awards for graduates returning to study additional programs through The Business School and for parents and siblings of current students. Certain campuses have bursary categories that may apply to that specific campus. You are advised to speak to a Student Advisor on campus for information about any such opportunities for bursaries not listed above.
