XAT result cum scorecard can be downloaded from the official website only. Hard copies of the scorecard will not be mailed by post. To check XAT result 2023, candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps:

Enter the security text

The XAT scorecards will be available online for a limited period only, hence the candidates must download their scorecards before the last date.

How To Calculate XAT Score
Each candidate’s XAT score is calculated using their raw scores from each area. Each accurate response earns one point, while each incorrect response earns 0.25 points less. Unanswered questions do not result in a significant loss; nevertheless, a candidate will lose 0.10 points if they skip eight questions in a succession. The XAT 2023 results will be calculated using the scoring scheme listed below. To better understand the XAT marking scheme, let us first look at the XAT scoring process:

XAT Score Calculation Process
- The sum total of marks obtained in all three sections (VA, DM & QA) is listed for all the candidates
- The candidates are then ranked according to total marks scored in XAT exam
- Each candidate’s rank is divided by the remaining number of test takers and then multiplied by 100 to arrive at the XAT percentile score
Let’s understand XAT percentile calculation through an example:
Suppose 80,000 students took the XAT test and a candidate’s rank is 500. Therefore that candidate’s XAT percentile will be:
79,500/80,000×100=99.375
What After XAT Result 2023
Following the announcement of the XAT 2023 results, XLRI will publish the cut off percentile for admission to its Business Management (BM), Human Resource Management (HRM), and General Management Programme (GMP) programs. Candidates who meet the XAT cut-off must fill out a form on the institute’s website indicating their interest in the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. Shortlisted candidates will then be notified via email about the GD/PI schedule and process. The ultimate admission decision will be based on the candidate’s overall performance in the XAT 2023, GD/PI, and academics.
