How to Fill the TNUSRB SI 2023 Application Form

TNUSRB SI application form is accepted through online mode only, the board provides no other mode of application. Follow the steps given below to fill online application for TNUSRB SI:

  • Visit the official website of TNUSRB, https://www.tnusrbonline.org/
  • Click on the link for the TNUSRB SI application to open the page for registration
  • The login page will appear, If you are a new user then click on the Create New User link
  • Provide all the required details in exact form. Don’t miss out on any box, provide the details as per your official documents (Educational certificates, birth certificates, etc.)
  • Candidates need to enter their personal details, contact details, educational detail, and qualification detail and have to upload passport-size photographs and signature
  • Proceed to submit the details after checking them
  • Next, proceed to the application form payment section. On the payment page, candidates have to select the medium through which they want to make payment and have to provide other details.
  • Complete application fee payment by paying online or offline. For online payment, candidates can choose any form of online transaction such as net banking, credit card, debit card, etc. The candidates who have opted for the offline payment mode can make the payment by depositing the cash through SBI E- Challan at the State bank of India (SBI).

TNUSRB SI Eligibility Criteria

Board has specified eligibility criteria for TNUSRB SI applicants. Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered eligible for sub-inspector posts:

Age
  • Candidates between 20 and 30 years of age are eligible to apply for the post. Here, the age of reckoning is July 1, 2022
  • The upper age limit for BC (Backward Class), BC (M), (Backward Class [Muslim]), MBC (Most Backward Class)/ DNC (De-notified Community) is up to 32 years
  • The upper age limit for SC (Scheduled Castes), SC(A) (Scheduled Castes Arunthathiyar), ST (Scheduled Tribes) is up to 35 years
  • The upper age limit for Ex-servicemen/Ex-personnel of Central Para-military Forces is up to 47 years
  • The upper age limit for Departmental candidates appearing for the departmental quota examination is up to 47 years

NOTE: Departmental candidates appearing as open quota candidates shall fall under 20-30 age bracket.

Educational Qualification
  • A Bachelor’s Degree from a UGC / Government recognized University in 10+2+3/4/5 pattern or 10+3+2 pattern in case of Diploma courses.
  • Candidates must have Tamil as a subject in X/XII/Degree. In case of not studying Tamil as a subject during X/XII/Degree, the person must pass Tamil Part-II Test conducted by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission within 2 years of joining the service.

NOTE: Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree through Open Universities devoid of a 10+2+3 pattern will not be eligible.
