Australian Catholic University QUALIFICATION MINIMUM ACADEMIC ENTRY REQUIREMENT Requirements

GCE ‘A’ Levels

Minimum aggregate score of 3.
Ranks on the GCE are calculated on the basis that at the Advanced Level (A2): A*=6, A=5, B=4, C=3, D=2, E=1, and
must include results in minimum of two advanced Level (A2) and up to two (2) at Advanced Subsidiary Level (AS)
subjects. AS Level subject is half of that assigned at Advanced Level (A2) – A*=3, A=2.5, B=2, C=1.5, D=1, E=0.5. Subjects at Advanced Level (A2) must be taken in the same academic year. AS Level subjects may be taken in the same or
previous academic year. A subject taken at both AS Level and Advanced Level is only counted once for aggregate score.
Predicted, provisional or forecast results will not be considered.

GCSE or IGCE ‘O’ Level

Minimum aggregate score of 16 of best 4 subjects.
Ranks on the GCSE/GCE O Level are calculated on the basis that graded 9 to 1 OR A* to G (A*=8.5, A= 7, B=5.5, C=4,
D=3.5, E=2.5, F=1.5 and G=1.0).

Global Assessment Certificate (GAC)
Global Assessment Certificate with minimum GPA of 1.0 on 4 point scale.

General Educational Development (GED)
This qualification is not accepted for entry into the Foundation Studies Program.

European Baccalaureate
Diplome du Baccalaureate European, Zeugnis der Europaischen Reifeprufung, Diploma di Licenze Liceale Europea,
Europees Baccalaureates Diploma with minimum overall grade of 45.

International Baccalaureate
Completion of Year 1 of the International Baccalaureate Diploma with Standard: 18.

West African Senior School Certificate
Maximum aggregate of 34 in the best six subjects.
