• NSC Requirements:

  Applicants with a South African National Senior Certificate (NSC) need to meet minimum statutory requirements for degree entry. 
• NSC Achievement:

  You’ll need a minimum of 30% in the language of learning and teaching of the institution, plus a minimum of 40% (Achievement Rating 3) or 50% (Achievement Rating 4) in four recognised 20-credit NSC subjects, according to Nelson Mandela University. 
• Designated Subjects:

  For degree programs, ensure that four of your seven subjects are from the designated subject list (which includes languages, Math or Math Literacy). 
• Applicant Score:

  For degree programs requiring Math or Technical Mathematics, a minimum Applicant Score of 370 and at least 50% in Math/Technical Math is needed. 

Postgraduate Application. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent:

  You’ll need a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification from an accredited university. 
• Transcripts and Certificates:

  Provide certified copies of your degree/diploma certificates and academic records. 
• Research Proposal:
