WHAT INFORMATION IS REQUIRED WHEN APPLYING AT PRESTIGE ACADEMY?
There are 3 processes to follow:
- Apply: Complete Application Form and pay application fee of R1350.00
- Register: Complete Registration Contract and pay deposit of R9000.00 when accepted
- Final enrolment administration process in January 2021
PHASE 1: Prestige Academy APPLICATION PROCESS
- A fully completed and signed Application form
- A copy of your Grade 11 or latest grade 12 results
- A copy of your South African Identity Document or equivalent document (in the case of non-SA citizens)
- Proof of Payment of Application fee
In the event of applying for payment through monthly instalments (incidental credit), the following information is required from the Principal Payer/Co-Payer:
- Principal Payer copy of South African Identity Document or equivalent document (in the case of non-SA citizens)
- Co-Payer copy of South African Identity Document or equivalent document (in the case of non-SA citizens)
- Latest (3 months) salary slip(s) – (if individual person(s) are the account payers)
- OR the latest Financial statements (if company is the account payer)
- A Portfolio of Evidence as required under specific admission requirements.

PHASE 2: REGISTRATION PROCESS
If you have received your provisional acceptance letter, you may proceed with this second process of the enrolment phase, by completing the Registration Contract. We will contact you with details regarding your registration form.
Prestige Academy PAYMENT AND DISCOUNT OPTIONS
- Early Registration Discount: Apply, register and pay the deposit on/before 31 July 2020 and qualify for a 5% discount on your course fees for 2021.
- Different settlement amounts are quoted on the fees list and is available for full payment of the programme fee on 30 September 2020, 30 November 2020 and 15 January 2021.
- 7.5% discount: Full payment of programme fee by 30 September 2020
- 5% discount: Full payment of programme fee by 30 November 2020

ABOUT PRESTIGE ACADEMY RESIDENCE – BELLVILLE
The Academy’s Residence Life works to offer a positive living and learning environment in our residence. It is therefore definitely regarded as a very special experience. A residence is a community in which one meets a range of diverse students and forges life-long friendships. Student Residence Life at the Academy strives to ensure a living and learning environment for all students and to promote a residence culture. Every effort is made to ensure that students’ residence life experience will foster their holistic development as well as being fully supportive of their academic programme.
The student residence can accommodate about 50 students in 4 different residences. These residences are all on the same residence ground.
PRESTIGE ACADEMY RESIDENCE REGISTER FOR RESIDENCE ACCOMMODATION
The Student Residence is available for Prestige Academy students only.
The programme registration and residence accommodation applications must be handed in simultaneously.

PRESTIGE ACADEMY RESIDENCE APPLICATION DATES
- First year students – 30 September 2020
- Senior students – 30 August 2020
The application closing dates are final and all applications must be accompanied with a R1 000.00 non-refundable application and registration fee or proof of payment thereof. Please use the student name and surname as reference when making payment. The residence deposit of R3 000.00 is payable once you receive confirmation of acceptance to the hostel, by no later than 30 October 2020.
Senior students who have not applied by the 30th of August 2020 will not be guaranteed place in the residence in 2020 and will be assisted according to availability.
It is important to note that allocation of rooms will be on a “first come, first serve” basis and your specific room is not automatically guaranteed. Applicants who make application before the final application date will be allocated a room in advance. It is therefore important not to wait until the final date to apply!
PRESTIGE ACADEMY RESIDENCE DEPOSIT AND DISCOUNT
3.5% Discount is offered if you pay the full residence fee by 30 November 2020 and 2% if you pay the full residence fee by 15 January 2020 for the 2021 academic year.
The residence deposit of R 3 000.00 is payable once you receive confirmation of acceptance to the hostel, by no later than 30 November 2020.
PRESTIGE ACADEMY SHUTTLE/TRANSPORT FEE
Your shuttle application forms part of your hostel registration form. An additional fee of R6500 per annum is charged for students who want to make use of the subsidized shuttle service to and from the academy. The fee is payable in full or over 10 months at R650 per month as from 1 February 2021 to 1 November 2021.
This fee is subject to supplier fees and could increase in the event of the supplier increasing their fees.
PRESTIGE ACADEMY FRIDGE FEE
Your fridge application forms part of your hostel registration form.
Only bar-type sized fridges (Height: 84cm x Width: 46cm x Depth: 50cm) will be allowed. Communal fridges are supplied. Should you bring your own fridge, an additional fee of R600 per annum will be levied towards the use of electricity. The fee is payable in full or over 11 months at R60.00 per month as from 1 February 2021 – 1 December 2021.
PRESTIGE ACADEMY RESIDENCE PARKING
Your parking application forms part of your hostel registration form. By completing your hostel registration form, parking is not automatically guaranteed. Parking is limited and you will be informed in writing whether you have been allocated a parking bay or not. Should parking not be available, you will go onto a waiting list until such parking do become available.
A shuttle service will be available for students without parking. Please refer to the section under “Shuttle” for more information.
It is important to note that should you have indicated “parking” on your application form and arrive at the hostel without a vehicle, it will automatically result into forfeiting your parking for the academic year.
No vehicle = No parking.
Allocation of parking bays will be confirmed by 15 November 2020. Should you be granted a parking, you will only be required to pay for the remote to gain access to the premises. The fee for the remote is R220 (once off) and will be refunded at the end of the academic year.
PRESTIGE ACADEMY RESIDENCE CANCELLATION OF RESIDENCE PLACEMENT
It is important to take note of the cancellation of hostel placement. Should you cancel the residence application after 30 November 2020, you will forfeit the non-refundable application registration fee of R1 000.00 as well as the deposit of R3 000.00. Cancellations received after 15 January 2021 will be held liable for the full year’s residence fee. Cancellations will only be accepted if done in writing.
