About REET

The full form of REET is Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers. The candidates who wish to teach primary and upper primary level classes in government schools of Rajasthan, need to clear the REET 2026 Exam and get REET 2026 Certificate. REET Qualified Candidates will become eligible to apply for the primary and upper primary level government teaching jobs in Rajasthan.

REET 2026: On July 23 and 24, 2026, various districts in Rajasthan will host the REET 2026 Examination. The application period for REET 2026 is now closed. The REET 2026 admit card is available for download from the official website for all qualified applicants. REET 2026 Exam

At the state level in Rajasthan, RBSE had declared 46,000 openings for the position of government third-grade teacher. Candidates for these positions must pass the qualifying exam, which will be administered offline on July 23 and 24, 2026. To qualify for the third-grade teaching test, candidates can apply for the level-1 and level-2 exams. Paper-1, or classes I through V, is used for primary level selection, and Paper-2, or classes VI through VIII, is used for secondary level selection.

REET 20262 NOTIFICATION EXAM DATES

Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan has released tentative dates for the REET Exam 2026. 23rd July and 24th July 2026 are the dates tentatively decided for conducting the REET Exam 2026.

HOW TO APPLY FOR YOUR ONLINE REET 2026/2026

The candidates should check out the following instructions to successfully fill in and submit the Application for REET 2026. The candidates need to follow all the steps mentioned below to submit an accurate and complete REET Online Application Form 2026.

• Step 2: Click on “REET 2026“
• Step 3: There will be a new tab opened i.e. http://www.reetbser21.com/ReETfoRm2021/HsPage.php
• Step 4: For Register first, Click here for “Register & Generate Fee Challan For REET-2026”.
• Step 5: Fill in your personal detail and submit them. There will be generated Fee Challan for REET 2026.
• Step 6: Then In the Application form option, there will be “Fill Application Form For REET-2026″and Read the instruction provided on the official page before applying for a REET application form. Click on it
• Step 7: Enter your details like personal information asked in the application form.
• Step 8: Make the necessary payment offline/online with REET 2026 Challan.
• Step 9: Recheck the application form and then submit it before the closing date of the application form.
• Step 10: Take out a hard copy of the duly filled registration form.

REET ELIGIBILITY CRIETERIA

REET is the teaching eligibility test comprised of  2 exams i.e. Paper-1 which is conducted for the selection at the primary level i.e. class I to V and Paper 2  which is conducted for secondary level i.e. class VI to VIII. Here we are discussing the REET Eligibility criteria for different levels separately.

Age Limit: The candidate is eligible to fill the application during his minimum age of 21 years with age relaxation for the candidates from the reserved category.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR BECOMING TEACHER FOR CLASSES I-V: (PRIMARY STAGE):

Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

OR

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR BECOMING TEACHER FOR CLASSES VI-VIII (ELEMENTARY STAGE):

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.

OR

Graduation or post-graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

OR

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), following the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- the year in B.A. /B.Sc.Ed. or B.A.Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

Graduation or Post Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1- year B.Ed. (Special Education).

 Note: Note:- Amendment by NCTE Notification No.F.No. NCTE-Reg/012/22/2019-US(Regulation)-HQ. Dated 13th November 2019 “At least 50% marks either in Graduation or in Post-Graduation and B.Ed.” the following Proviso inserted-“Provided that minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall not apply to those incumbents who had already taken admission to the Bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course before the 29th July 2011.”

REET EXAM PATTERN FOR LEVEL-1  & 2 EXAM

•Level-1 paper is for the candidates who want to get selected for the primary level teaching profession.
•The Level-1 paper is of a total of 150 questions with one mark for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking for the Level-1 & II exams.
•The time duration for the Level-1 exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

REET 2026 APPLICATION FEE

In the following table, the REET 2026 Application Fee is mentioned in detail. The candidates belonging to the General and OBC Category need to pay Rs. 550/- for One paper and Rs. 750/- for two papers. Meanwhile, SC and ST category candidates need to pay Rs. 250/- for one paper and Rs. 500/- for two papers as application fees.

EET 2026 EXAM ADMIT CARD

The candidates can download the admit card soon from the RBSE official website with simple steps of filling in the required credentials. The exam date for REET 2026 has been decided to be conducted on 23rd & 24th July 2026 (Tentatively). The admit card will be released separately for candidates appearing for Level-1 and Level-2.

STEPS TO DOWNLOAD REET 2026 ADMIT CARD

1. Visit the official website of Rajasthan Education Board @rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in
2. Click on the link reading REET Admit Card, which will be active soon.
3. Enter your details and click on the Submit button.
4. The hall ticket for the written exam of REET 2026 will appear on the screen.
5. Download and save your call letter, and take a printout of the same for future reference.

REET 2026 EXAM CENTRES

REET 2026 RESULT

The result is expected to be out after one month of the conduction of the examination. The result will be uploaded first on the official website of RBSE and the list of selected candidates. REET is a qualifying exam and a candidate has to score at least 60% to get selected. The qualifying limit for OBC/ST/SC is a minimum of 55% marks. The qualifying candidates will be called for further procedures to get selected for the post of teachers in Rajasthan schools.

REET TEACHER SALARY

REET Teacher Salary structure differs based on the grades. REET TeachersSalaery have been divided grade-wise and the detail is mentioned below:

• REET Level I Teachers – Teach various subjects in Class I to V.
• REET Level II Teachers – Teach various subjects in Class VI to VIII.

REET CUT-OFF MARKS

As the REET 2026 examination is out, the Supreme Court has also released an order for NCTE regarding the revised passing criteria for REET 2026. There will be a 5 to 20 per cent passing percentage relaxation for candidates to qualify for REET 2026. Here are the details are given below :

n the REET Teaching Recruitment Examination, the weightage of the marks obtained in the REET exam has been increased. Previously, the weightage of the REET marks is only 70% and 30% is for the academic weightage of the candidates. Now it is converted into 90: 10.

REET : NEW EXAM PATTERN FOR GRADE 3 TEACHER EXAM

The candidates need to carefully read and understand the new REET Exam Pattern 2026. There have been drastic changes made to the REET Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2026. The candidates will have to solve 150 questions of 300 marks in 2 hours and 30 minutes. Rajasthan Board has introduced a negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer
