What is SBI Clerk Cut off?
SBI Clerk Cut-off is the minimum qualifying mark required to be secured by each candidate in the prelims and mains exams. This means candidates need who score equal to or greater than the cut-off marks are considered qualified for the exam. There is no sectional cut-off in the SBI Clerk exam, but candidates have to qualify for the overall SBI Clerk cut-off to get selected for the recruitment process.
On January 2, 2025 , the State Bank of India issued the SBI Clerk prelims cut-off 2022. SBI Clerk’s preliminary examination was held on November 12, 19, 20, and 25. The SBI Clerk prelims cut-off is the minimum score needed to pass the preliminary test and be eligible to sit for the main exam. Candidates had to get the overall cut-off marks because there were no sectional SBI Clerk prelims cut-off. The SBI Clerk prelims cut-off has been determined as a percentage of 100 based on a variety of variables, including the number of openings, the number of individuals that applied, and the complexity of the test. The SBI Clerk cutoff for the 2022 preliminaries and mains exams have been issued separately. The registration number/roll number, date of birth, and captcha code must be entered by candidates in order to view the category- and state-specific cut-offs. There is no sectional cutoff, hence to be eligible for each exam stage, candidates must simply achieve the overall SBI Clerk cutoff. If candidates pass the regional language test, the final selection will be based on the SBI Clerk’s main exam cutoff. The final merit list does not take the prelims cutoff into account.

Factors Determining SBI Clerk Cut off
The cut-off is determined based on the following factors:
- Number of vacancies
- The difficulty level of the exam
- Number of test-takers
SBI Clerk Pre-Cut-off 2025
The main exam comprises three sections, English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. The cut-off of the prelims exam is calculated out of 100 marks. On the basis of SBI Clerk cut-off 2021, candidates 10 times the number of vacancies are selected for the mains exam.
SBI Clerk Mains Cut off 2025
The mains exam for SBI Clerk comprises four sections, General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability, and Computer Aptitude. The test carries a total of 200 marks.
SBI Clerk cut-off for the mains exam is decided based on the total marks secured by the last candidates provisionally selected. Candidates are required to score a minimum percentage of marks on aggregate.
However, a five percent relaxation in the minimum qualifying marks is provided to SC/ST/OBC/PWD/XS candidates. The minimum qualifying marks on aggregate are decided by the bank. The merit list is prepared state-wise and category-wise.
