Idols SA has been renewed for a brand new season ’16’ and so we will be hitting up a city near you as we scour the nation for stunning new voices to uplift and inspire.
South Africa is obviously a nation full of extraordinary potential so we’re thrilled for the new voices we’ll encounter on our audition run because you guys never seize to inspire us, amaze and bring the nation to a standstill.
Idols SA 2024 (Season 20) Online Auditions
Idols SA might be coming back next year in 2024 for Season 20, this might be the final season of Idols South Africa after 22 years.
Online auditions might officially open on Sunday 11 February 2024, the Application Form will only be made available then, so the best use of your time right now is to get yourself singing-ready.
The online auditions might then close on Sunday 25 February 2024.

Please note that when entries for Idols SA 2024 officially close, producers of the show will then get in touch with all the successful applicants. Watch this space for details.
How To Apply And Register For Voting On Idols SA
Voting for Idols SA is actually available through three, official platforms, which include
- Official Idols SA website
- Official Idols SA mobile site and
- SMS
Voting on the Idols SA official website and mobile site is completely free, but first, you’ll need to create an account and that’s ONLY if you haven’t already. Registered voters, don’t need to re-register and if you’ve forgotten your password, consult the Voting FAQs article for tips on how to reset it
Note:
Please be informed that the entire Idols South Africa audition process is Completely Free, the Idols South Africa Application Forms are also Completely Free. Therefore, do not pay any money to anyone; if anyone asks you for any money, please report them to the nearest police station.
HOW TO REGISTER ON THE OFFICIAL IDOLS SA WEBSITE

- You can register to vote on the Idols SA official website – www.idolssa.tv
- Click on the Vote menu item. You can also navigate to the VOTE page using the link, www.idolssa.tv/vote
- Click on REGISTER and enter your Name, Surname, Year of Birth, Gender, Cellphone Number in the international format e.g. +27731896142, and your Preferred password.
NOTE: Please make sure to pick something you’ll remember when voting opens.
- Enter your OTP
- Once registered, you will be able to vote.
- You do not have to register again if you have already voted on a previous Idol’s season or M-Net Voting Production.
- Website votes are free.

- You can register to vote on the Idols SA mobile website – www.idolssa.tv
- Click on the Vote menu item. You can also navigate to the VOTE page using the link, www.idolssa.tv/vote
- Click on REGISTER and enter your Name, Surname, Year of Birth, Gender, phone number in the international format e.g. +27731896142, and your Preferred password.

- You will receive an OTP (Time Pin) via SMS.
- Enter your OTP
- Once registered, you will be able to vote.
- You do not have to register again if you have already voted on a previous Idols season or M-Net Voting Production.

HOW TO REGISTERED IDOLS SA VIA SMS
And finally, as a reminder, voting via SMS will work the way it always has and does not require registration of any sort. Simply text your favorite contestant’s number to 37400. SMSs still cost R1.50 each and you can vote up to 100 times.
HOW TO VOTE ON SOUTH AFRICA IDOLS 2024 AUDITION
There are three platforms that you can use to vote for your favorite Idols SA contestants, which as follow;

By using all the options listed above and you could cast up to 300 votes for your Idol bettering their chances of advancing every week and claiming the ultimate prize.

- To VOTE for your favorite contestant, SMS their number to 37400

Voting opens on Sundays either at the top of the show or during the live broadcast. it will be communicated explicitly both on-air and on our social media platforms that the lines are open.
Voting will close on Tuesdays at 10:00 PM unless there is an extension to the voting period which will also be communicated.
