TOEIC Tests Registration 

Learn how to register for the TOEIC tests to measure your English-language communication skills. How you’ll register depends on which TOEIC test you’re taking, and in which country you are taking the test.

The name you use when registering

When registering for the test, you must use the exact same name that appears on the primary ID you’ll present at the test center. For complete information on ID requirements, view the Examinee Handbook for your test:

Testing sessions

There are two types of TOEIC Listening and Reading testing sessions:

  • Public test sessions are held in various testing locations around the world throughout the year.
  • Institutional test sessions are offered by your employer or a language school.The registration information below is for public testing sessions when you’re taking the test independently. If you need to register for an institutional testing session, contact your school or employer.


Outside of the United States and Canada

Contact your local ETS Preferred Network (EPN) office for TOEIC Listening and Reading test dates and availability in your country.

United States and Canada

Public testing sessions for the TOEIC Listening and Reading test in the United States and Canada are held 12 times a year.

The registration deadline is always on the Thursday 1 week before the test at 5 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time. For example, if you want to take the test on Saturday, November 13, you must register by 5 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time on Thursday, November 4.

Complete the online registration steps and submit payment via Visa®, MasterCard®, American Express® or JCB. The card must be in your name.
