The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service within the car rental operation. This position provides direct support at the exit gate, vehicle return area, rental counter, and other operational points, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and professional experience for all customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Exit Gate & Returns
- Verify rental agreements and customer identification upon vehicle exit.
- Inspect vehicles upon return, documenting fuel levels, mileage, and any damage.
- Provide guidance to customers returning vehicles, ensuring a quick and efficient process.
- Rental Counter Support
- Assist customers with reservations, check-ins, and rental agreements.
- Answer questions regarding rental policies, insurance coverage, and billing.
- Upsell additional services (upgrades, GPS, child seats, insurance, etc.) as appropriate.
- Customer Service & Problem Resolution
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide accurate information about rental policies, procedures, and local area directions.
- Escalate unresolved issues to supervisors when necessary.
- Operational Support
- Support vehicle movement and cleaning, carwash operation, and lot organization as needed.
- Assist with general office or lot duties to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support operational needs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework a plus.
- Previous customer service experience preferred (car rental, hospitality, or retail experience a plus).
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, rental systems, POS).
Work Conditions
- Requires standing for extended periods and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- May require occasional lifting of up to 25 lbs.
