NDA 2023 Notification
NDA notification 2023 is made available in PDF form and contains details such as eligibility criteria, vacancies, reservation policy, admit card, stages of exam, etc.
NDA 2023 Registration
Interested candidates need to fill NDA application form online. The application fee can be paid both online and offline which is INR 100. Candidates must note that the application fee is exempted for SC/ST candidates/Sons of JCOs/NCOs/ORs. Only unmarried male candidates who have completed Class 12 can apply for the exam.
NDA 2023 Admit Card
NDA admit card is released three weeks before the exam. Candidates can download the admit card online from the official website by logging in with either the registration number or roll number. The admit card contains all information related to the exam. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post.
NDA 2023 Exam Centres
NDA exam is conducted across more than 70 cities in the country. The exam is conducted in two shifts. Candidates are required to select their preferred exam city while filling out the application form. The NDA exam center is allotted on a first-apply-first-allot basis. Therefore, candidates are advised to fill out the application form early.
Details of NDA Exam Pattern and Syllabus
NDA exam is divided into a written exam and SSB Interview. The written comprises two papers. The total marks allotted to the written exam are 900. The SSB Interview is held for 900 marks. The NDA syllabus is simple and comprises the topics that candidates have studied in Class 10, 11, and 12 standards. The Mathematics section comprises topics from Algebra, Matrices, and Determinants, Trigonometry, Integral Calculus, Differential Equations, Vector Algebra, etc. GAT comprises topics from General Knowledge and English.
NDA 2023 Recruitment Answer Key
NDA recruitment answer key is released after the completion of the selection process. NDA answer key is released separately for Mathematics and GAT and for all codes of the test booklet.
NDA 2023 Vacancy
NDA vacancy 2023 has been released along with the notification. A total of 395 vacancies have been announced for NDA 1 2023. In 2021, a total of 400 NDA vacancy was announced for NDA 1 & 2 exams and 19 NDA seats were for women candidates.
NDA 2023 Selection Process
The selection of candidates is done based on the written exam and SSB Interview. UPSC will prepare a list of candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the written exam. Such candidates are required to appear before the Services Selection Board for Intelligence and Personality Test.
Candidates need to secure separate qualifying marks for the written exam and SSB Interview. On the basis of candidates’ performance in the written exam and SSB Interview selection is done. The final allocation to the Army, Navy, and Air Force of the National Defence Academy, and the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme of the Indian Naval Academy will be done based on the number of NDA vacancies, eligibility criteria, medical fitness, and merit-cum-preference of candidates.
