SSC GD 2024 Application 

SSC GD 2024 forms can be filled out online, and no physical forms will be available to the candidates. The SSC GD 2024 application form has two parts, namely Part I (registration) and Part II (application form). While filling out the SSC GD Constable application form, candidates need to pay the required fee, which is INR 100 (women/SC/ST/ex-servicemen candidates are exempt from fee payment). However, before proceeding with the application process, candidates are advised to check their SSC GD eligibility.

 SSC GD 2024 Online Application 

The SSC GD 2024 Apply Online link will be activated by the officials just after the release of the notification on the official website, ssc.nic.in. Candidates who are eligible and interested can apply online from the official portal or from the direct link that will be provided below. Candidates are advised to apply for the SSC GD 2024 Constable exam positions on or before the deadline. The direct link to apply online will be activated.

SSC GD Application Document Required

Check the list below for the documents that candidates must have ready before filling out the SSC GD Constable application form:

  • Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar Enrollment number
  • In case candidates do have Aadhaar Card or Aadhaar enrollment number can enter details of their Voter ID Card, PAN, Passport, Driving License, School/College ID, and Employer ID
  • Class 10 mark sheet and admit card
  • Bank details to make online payments (not required in case of offline payment)

 SSC GD 2024 Application Fee

The SSC GD Constable application fee is INR 100 for every candidate to register. However, women, SC, ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from the fee payment.

SSC GD 2024 Online Procedure

Candidates can find the step-by-step procedure for applying online for SSC GD 2024 recruitment below.

  • Visit the official website, ssc.nic.in.
  • A page with registration and login forms will be displayed.
  • If a candidate has already registered for SSC exams, then just fill in the login details to apply for the SSC GD 2024 Constable Exam. But if a candidate has not yet registered, he or she needs to fill out the registration form.
  • After logging in, go to “Apply now” and fill in the required details, including name, father’s name, mother’s name, education qualification, address, etc.
  • Now, fill in the communication address and upload your photo and signature.
  • Before submitting the form, preview the details.
  • After submitting the form, the next step is to pay the fee. The SSC GD 2024 application fee is acceptable in online and offline modes.
  • The candidate can pay the fee through Debit/Credit card/Net Banking/E-Challan if applicable.
  • Click submit, and the form will be submitted successfully.
  • Now, the SSC GD 2024 application process is complete, and you can take the printout for further use.

SSC GD Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the SSC GD 2024 Exam have been prescribed in the notification. It covers all aspects of SSC GD eligibility criteria, such as education requirements, age limits, and nationality requirements for the exam. The notification also mentions the relaxation provided for certain categories. To avoid last-minute cancellations of their candidature, candidates should read and understand the eligibility requirements for the SSC GD exam.

Nationality

Candidates must be citizens of India, Nepal, or Bhutan to apply online for SSC GD 2024 recruitment. Because the vacancies are announced by state/UT, a candidate must submit a domicile/PRC against his state/UT to claim any reservation.

Age Limit

A candidate applying for the SSC GD Constable exam must have a minimum age of 18 years and should not exceed 23 years of age. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2000 and later than 01-01-2005.

Education Qualification

The candidate should have a tenth pass certificate from any recognized board or university, and then he or she is eligible to apply for the SSC GD 2024 exam.

 SSC GD Registration 2024

Candidates can fill SSC GD application form in two parts – registration and application. Candidates can follow the procedure given below:

  • For one-time SSC GD Constable registration, candidates need to click on the ‘New user? Register Now link on the home page
  • During SSC GD Constable registration, candidates need to fill in the basic details, address details
  • Provide information about Aadhaar number/Aadhaar enrollment number/identity card and its number
  • Candidates need to fill in their name as given in the Class 10 certificate
  • Fill in the father’s and mother’s names as given in the Class 10 certificate
  • Candidates are also required to fill in their date of birth as given in the Class 10 certificate
  • Candidates need to fill in details of their Class 10 exam during SSC GD Constable registration, which includes – the name of the education board, roll number, and year of passing
  • Enter gender, highest educational qualification, mobile number, email ID, etc
  • After filling in the basic details, candidates need to confirm their mobile number and email ID
  • Upon confirmation, the registration ID and password will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID
  • Candidates can proceed towards filling in the ‘Additional Details’ by clicking the Next button
  • Candidates need to fill in Category, Nationality, Identification Mark, Temporary and Permanent Address
  • Upload scanned photograph and signature
  • Upon clicking the ‘Final Submit’ different OTPs will be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID
  • Candidates need to enter the OTPs to complete the registration process
  • After the submission of basic information, if the registration process is not completed within 7 days, the data will be deleted from the system
  • After completion of the registration process, basic details can be changed only once

Part II – Online SSC GD Constable Application Form

  • Candidates need to login into their account through a registered email ID and password
  • Candidates can change the password when asked to do the same
  • Click the ‘Apply’ link in the SSC GD Constable section under the ‘Latest Notifications’ tab
  • Information filled during SSC GD Constable registration will be auto-filled and are non-editable
  • Candidates need to enter their preferences for exam centers. They can choose three exam centers in the order of preference
  • Select Domicile State/ UT and District of Domicile
  • Candidates need to give preference to CAPFs/ Organizations
  • Candidates need to enter their highest qualification
  • Information regarding photo/signature/biometric impression is filled automatically from one time SSC GD Constable registration data
  • Candidates should pay the application fee online or at SBI Challan
  • Candidates need to complete their application process by clicking on ‘I Agree check box and fill the captcha code
  • Take a printout of the SSC GD Constable application form for further reference

What Is The Selection Process For The SSC GD 2024 Exam?

The entire recruitment process for SSC GD 2024 will be completed in four stages, namely:

SSC GD 2024 Vacancy

The SSC GD 2024 notification will mention the vacancies for male and female candidates separately. Vacancies for the SSC GD 2024 exam will be announced after the release of the notification. SSC GD 2022–23 vacancies were announced by the commission; that is, 45,284 vacancies, out of which 40,274 are for male constables and 48,355 are for female constables. The highest number of vacancies are notified for the Border Security Force (BSF). CRPF will be the nodal agency to conduct the physical and medical examinations of the candidates.
