General Requirement for British Army 2023

  • Age Requirement 
      1. An interested applicant must be at least 16 years old to join the Army as a soldier.
      2. You must enlist before your 36th birthday.
      3. If you’re under the age of 18, you’ll need permission from your parents or guardians.
  • Nationality Requirement For British Army Recruitment 2023
      1. If you are a Commonwealth citizen, you must seek permission to enter the UK.
      2. You do not need to be a resident of the United Kingdom to start your application.
      3. A passport that is valid for at least two years from the date of travel is required. If your start date was March 2023, your passport must be valid until March 2025.
      4. Refugees and asylum seekers are not accepted by the British Army.

British Army Requirement For Commonwealth Citizens 2023

While Commonwealth countries have broader access to the British Army than ever before, they must meet specific criteria:
